Other classifications might contain risks such as excessive amplification of sound or the development of tinnitus (a ringing sensation in the ears).

Can I wear your OTC hearing aids if I have perceived mild to moderate hearing loss?
Yes, if you have perceived mild to moderate hearing loss, Nano OTC hearing aids could be the solution you need. They are not intended for those with normal hearing.
Perceived mild to moderate hearing loss can include difficulty hearing conversations in places with a lot of background noise, difficulty hearing on the phone, needing to turn up the TV or radio even if others say it sounds loud, feeling tired from listening, and finding it difficult to follow conversations.
If you think you might have severe hearing loss, consider scheduling an appointment with a hearing healthcare professional. They can evaluate the various parts of your ear (including the ear canal), conduct hearing tests, and if needed prescribe a prescription hearing device. You might need prescribed hearing aids if you experience difficulty hearing loud noises (even in quiet environments), difficulty hearing conversations, or you find yourself reading lips as a result of your hearing loss.
What are general care and maintenance guidelines for Nano OTC hearing aids?
- The hearing aids should be turned off when not in use
- Store in the charging case when not in use.
- Remove hearing aids when showering to prevent them from getting wet
- Remove before applying perfume or hair spray.
- Keep away from pets and small children.
- Protect against heat and humidity as well as extremely cold temperatures.
- Use a hearing aid brush or a dry cloth to gently remove debris and wax from the tip of the hearing aid.

How do I choose the proper dome size?
Your Nano OTC Hearing Aids come with different styles and sizes of domes. It may take some time experimenting with various domes to find the one that best suits your ears and listening preference. A dome can affect not only the comfort but the way your voice sounds as well as overall amplified sound.
We encourage you to try using the hearing aid without a dome. While domes have been provided, you may find it more comfortable and less occluding without domes. However, if you experience feedback or chirping without a dome, proceed with selecting a dome that best fits your ear. If you choose to use a dome, ensure that your dome fits snugly, or it can cause sound feedback.
How do I adjust the volume on my Nano OTC hearing aids?
To adjust volume settings on your hearing aids, simply press the volume button on your hearing aid to cycle the volume up from levels 1 to 6.
1 beep: When you increase the volume level, your hearing aid will beep 1 time.
3 beeps: When you have increased the volume level to the maximum volume, your hearing aid will beep 3 times.
The next quick touch after you’ve reached the maximum volume returns the volume to level 1.
