HSAs and FSAs are special savings accounts designed to help you pay for healthcare expenses using pre-tax dollars. FSAs are typically employer-sponsored and may expire annually, while HSAs are available with high-deductible health plans and allow funds to roll over year to year. Most often, it’s due to insufficient funds or incorrect card details. Double-check your account balance, expiration date, and ZIP code. Flex will notify you if anything needs correcting during checkout.
Yes! Select “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA,” then use your regular credit card. Flex will send you an itemized receipt to submit for reimbursement.
Some providers may require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) for reimbursement. This is a note from your healthcare provider stating that a product or treatment is essential to your health. Learn more about LOMNs here.
