My audiologist diagnosed me with mild/moderate hearing loss which was primarily exhibited in difficulty hearing my wife and others in conversation. They are ridiculous

I put them on and all of the sudden, I am hearing things that I haven’t heard in a long time. I now am able to hear my grand children when they speak to me and can keep up with their tails of “their “ world events.
The only drawback is sometimes they work too well, like when I am watching a movie and a shot fires or the commercial comes on, then I get a little overwhelmed.
