About Nano Hearing Aids
Let’s be real, nobody actually wants glasses. People prefer their sight to work.
And, it turns out, nobody wants hearing aids.
.We’d, of course, snap our fingers to make everything better. But, at the end of the day, we’re just … techies.
We help the way we truly knew how. We could start small... Super small. The smallest small.
Given that nobody wants a hearing aid, and certainly not as a fashion statement, could we just make something that works?
Like really works?
Something both
Something almost , yet ?
Something “nano”?
Affordable technology, reconnecting everyday people to the sounds of their everyday lives.
Doesn’t have to be fancier than that.
And, to be fair, times have been tough.
There’s been more separation than ever before. There’s been more isolation than ever before. And that was for people with perfect hearing.
We learned that folks with mild to moderate hearing loss felt all of this more acutely.
They didn’t care about the product. They only cared about what the product could help them reclaim.
Big things like family, confidence , Normality , Belonging , Joy And so on …
That’s why we do this.
Hearing your big stories inspires us to continue working on the small things. Hearing what works and doesn’t work inspires us to keep refining our products.
MORE NANO!
To make your shopping experience more streamlined and pleasant. Again, nobody wants a hearing aid. We’re often worried about how we’ll appear. Resistance is normal.
If you have been disconnected from the fullness of sound for a while, it can also be an adjustment. Therefore, an amazing customer support team, we believe, is as important as world-class research and development. With no sales pressure.
We’re here when you’re ready, whatever that looks like.
Small hinges can, indeed, open big doors.
Frequently Asked Questions: Nano Hearing Aids
What are OTC hearing aids?
OTC hearing aids, also known as Over-the-Counter hearing aids, are designed for adults with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss. One of the biggest advantages of OTC hearing aids is that they are not prescribed hearing aids, meaning they don’t require a prescription or visit to the audiologist. This allows individuals who are 18 years old or older to purchase them without a visit to the doctor.
What is mild to moderate hearing loss?
Someone with mild to moderate hearing loss might experience one or all of the following:
- Trouble hearing conversations in noisy places due to background noise.
- Finding it difficult to follow conversations and hear people in group settings.
- Difficulty hearing someone on the phone.
- Feeling tired from the effort of listening.
- Needing to turn up the volume on the TV or radio, even if others say that it’s loud and affects their normal hearing.
If you’re concerned your hearing loss might actually be severe, it’s best to schedule an appointment with your doctor. Symptoms of severe hearing loss can include difficulty hearing loud noises and conversations (even in quiet environments), and you might rely on reading lips as a result. Regular checks of the ear canal by a hearing healthcare professional are recommended if you experience these symptoms.
