Q: Today I get my new SX2000 aids to try and there is not one battery in the box. I’m supposed to get a six month supply to my understanding, but I didn’t even get 2 batteries to even try them with. 

A: Yes, there should be a 6 month supply. If missing, please call our customer support at 1-877-654-9071 or email us at hello@nanohearingaids.com and we will send them ASAP

 

Q: Tinnitus response?

A: Great question! It’s tricky to diagnose conditions like Tinnitus, but what I CAN tell you is that we have had a LOT of customers with severe hearing loss, Tinnitus and other similar conditions, and they invested in our Nano Nano X2 and LOVE it! So I think it’s worth giving it a shot. There’s no risk because we have a 60 day return policy.

 

Q: Should I leave my hearing aids in as I go through airport security?

A: We recommend taking your hearing aids out until you’re past airport security, but definitely ask them to be sure!

 

Q: Can our devices be used interchangeably? If yes, which one?

A: Technically, any of our devices can be used interchangeably, but it is recommended to use the same kind for each ear.

 

Q: Can I amplify just the frequencies that I have trouble with?

A: Great question. You can’t specifically amplify the frequencies you have difficulties with, but you CAN switch between different modes and different volume settings. All our hearing aids have 2 or more modes, and over 10 different volume levels, so if you adjust between the different modes and volume settings you should be able to get the perfect sound for you.

 

Q: I have hearing loss but I also have hyperacusis. More so in the left ear than the right, would your product help with this or not?

Q: How does the trial period work?

Q: WHY DO I HAVE TO KEEP THESE FOR 21 DAYS TO GET A RMA WHEN I KNOW THEY DON’T WORK?

A: Your ears first need to get used to the sensation of wearing a hearing aid. The brain, too, suddenly has to start perceiving and processing many stimuli again. It may be a long time since you last heard the full range of sounds. Many of the background noises that people with normal hearing have learned to ignore will sound new to you, so to begin with, you’ll find them far harder to shut out.

While you are familiarizing yourself with the many acoustic stimuli around you, your brain will in time re-learn how to suppress background noise and focus on important sounds. Be patient. After a few weeks or months, you won’t even notice that you’re wearing a hearing aid.

 

Q: Aetna medicare is covering in 2019 up to a 1000.00 for hearing aids. Are you working with them yet.

A: Unfortunately, our devices are not covered under insurance. However, as we have them at such an affordable cost, AND have the option for payment installments, it should be affordable to anyone!

 

Q: How can an aid adjust for frequency loss at several points of the hearing spectrum?

Q: Does the aid always fit in the ear with the antenna down?

A: Everyone’s ear canals are shaped differently, so if you need to turn them a different way for a better fit, feel free.

 

Q: If I wanted to get Nano hearing aids, how would I go about getting an audio-gram and how much more expensive would they be from the current offer of $397 for a pair?

A: While it’s true that different people can have different levels of hearing loss, it’s not true that you actually need an audiologist to give you hearing aids that are programmed to your hearing loss level.
